Tasting Notes:
This is an extremely fruit forward, user-friendly wine. It has a brilliant pale straw color. The delicate fruit aromas and flavors in this wine were captured during an extended, cold stainless steel fermentation. This handcrafted wine separates itself stylistically from all other Sauvignon Blanc wines currently on the market. It combines a mineral quality with intense tropical and spicy aromas and flavors. Spiciness is another descriptor for the classic herbaceous/cut-grass/cat-pee style made popular by New Zealand wineries. All the Burford and Brown wines must be varietally distinct, so some aromas/flavors consisting of the above should be present, however, not dominating. We are proud to say that there is no other blend in the market right now like this one.
