Vineyards:  95% Napa Valley and 5% Alexander Valley
Fruit:  95% Sangiovese and 5% Merlot
Oak:  100% Barrel aged, 25% new French oak for one year
Alcohol:  13.5%

TASTING NOTES

• Abundance of strawberries and plums
• Touches of violets and blueberries add complexity
• Hints of vanilla, spice and sweet oak are complimentary
• Flavors consist of dark cherry and sweet vanilla
• Well balanced and easy to drink

RECOMMENDED PAIRINGS

An excellent aperitif, even try it chilled for those hot afternoons.  Great with spicy dishes, BBQ chicken and chili beans
